Your role

Our Child and Family Services division are currently inviting applications for the position of Local Level Alliance Facilitator, Capricornia, Central Highlands and Central West region. This role is crucial in bringing together stakeholders, partners and change champions, to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to all things Community Services.

Reporting to the Local Service Manager Rockhampton, you will be an independent thinker who prides themselves on their organisational and event planning skills. You are a gifted leader of workshops and meetings and don’t shy away from having difficult community conversations, whilst maintaining respectful and diplomatic relationships with other stakeholders and the wider community.

You understand the unique and rich culture and insight of the local Aboriginal community, and have strong links to Indigenous organisations and Elders. You know how to authentically engage people to express their ideas, and can collate and interpret feedback and data in the blink of an eye.

You will present with:

  • Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Development and /or Human services discipline
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Human Services)
  • Experience leading community meetings, workshops and events
  • Huge passion for contemporary practice in community services, particularly child related activities, with ability to integrate change management into existing frameworks
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, being that rare unicorn that can have tough conversations whilst remaining professionally warm and respected
  • Drivers License
