350.org Australia is seeking a talented and committed communications expert to join our small team and drive forward important communications work to tackle the climate crisis and halt fossil fuel expansion.
About 350.org
350.org is an international movement dedicated to solving the climate crisis. We mobilise hundreds of thousands of people around the world to reduce greenhouse emissions and rapidly move to clean energy. Our online campaigns, grassroots activities and mass public actions are led from the bottom up by volunteers in over 188 countries. Reducing atmospheric carbon to the safe level of 350 ppm will require a massive reduction in emissions, the majority of which come from burning fossil fuels such as coal and gas. 350.org Australia’s mission is to keep our coal and gas in the ground, achieve a safe level of CO2 in our atmosphere and build a people-powered movement for a clean energy future. We achieve this through fossil fuel divestment campaigning and halting key fossil fuel expansion projects. For more information: www.350.org.au.
