As a Consultant, your core role will include:
- Facilitating mentoring sessions with each individual on a weekly basis
- Planning and coordinating new valued social roles for each mentee across various life domains (e.g., work, community, home, leisure, academics, travel, civic and social engagement and more)
- Consulting with key stakeholders including family, supporters, friends, co-workers, Circle of support, housemates and community
- Working within South Eastern suburbs and remotely (utilising video conferencing when required)

You must have:
- Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A deep commitment to ensuring individuals with disabilities have a genuinely good life in the community
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Understanding of community and community development
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those living with disabilities
- Familiarity with Social Role Valorisation, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Customised Employment, Micro-Businesses, and Individualised Living Arrangements, or a willingness to learn
- ABN, insurance, and satisfactory safety screening
It would be desirable for you to have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Social Work, Disability Studies, Counselling, Allied Health or similar)
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
