At the Vegan Dairy we take pride in creating and developing plant based dairy alternatives that are as tasty and satisfying as the real thing. Our small and growing team work hard and fast, together, and is really a little family at work. With everything we produce we aim for it to arrive in absolutely perfect condition with our customers. So we have very high standards of the quality of what we produce, and send out, in our business. We have a very strong focus on health, environmental responsibility, and of course making delicious plant based foods.

This is a full time role. Our 'full time' working hours are a little different than most, though. We work a 4 day week - Tuesday to Friday - and working hours are 7am to 4pm. Our working days are busy, and fast paced. We work at maximum efficiency and effectiveness when inside the cheesery, but are friendly and very supportive of each other and our whole team in and out of the cheesery. Despite working very busy fast paced days during the week, this is balanced by having a 3 day weekend every week.

This role is to assist with any packing duties needed in the cheesery. This can include, but is not limited to:

• Cutting and coating cheeses
• Packing, wrapping, and labelling products
• Packing orders
• Cleaning and preparing work stations
• Assisting with any other duties as needed by the Production Manager

To be successful for this role you will be:

• Able to lift and move trays and boxes of products up to around 15-20kg
• Able to work autonomously
• Meticulous, with a keen attention to detail

• Able to listen and take feedback with a view and desire to perform as well as possible and grow in the role
• Able to follow and repeat very specific instructions / processes / procedures
• Take initiative to suggest ways to perfect or improve things, where it may be needed

As we are such a small team currently, and still hope to grow a lot in this wonderful plant based industry, there may be opportunities down the line for this role to grow into something more for the right person.
