The Women’s Family Violence team is responsible for leading the Safer Care Victoria funded Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence (SHRFV) Program, Commonwealth funded service implementation and evaluations and associated projects. These initiatives aim to increase staff competence, develop and share resources and build hospital capacity across Victoria to respond to family violence, and improve outcomes for patients and staff who experience family violence.
As the Senior Clinician Family Violence, you will work closely with the Project Officer Family Violence and the Senior Program Manager Family Violence to support metropolitan and rural health services to complete the embedding of the SHRFV model internally and externally. You’ll play a role a role in the provision of consultation and training to other professionals, including delivery of community education, and support with maintenance of iCOPE (antenatal screening) and Clinical Champions and Contact Officers, as well as delivering training and developing and maintaining resources.

This role is available until June 2025 at 0.8EFT, however there may be the potential to offer full time (1.0) hours.
You will be someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who has experience in engaging and managing relationships with a diversity of stakeholders. You’ll have the ability to work independently without supervision, show initiative and apply a solution focused lens in order to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
