The National Theatre for Children is the largest producer of educational theatre in the world operating across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. The company has been delivering free educational programs into schools for over 40 years!

We are currently looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to communicate and schedule our programs into schools via phone and email all across Australia & New Zealand.

Successful applicants will need a great phone manner, the ability to think on their feet, thrive in a busy office and have a positive "can do" attitude.

You will be establishing and maintaining a regular call cycle to schools which will require your ability to work your own well-planned timetable through the year.

Most importantly you will love developing relationships on the phone and have a passion for the outcomes achieved through educating children and helping teachers.

Desirable qualities include:

  • Communication/Sales experience with excellent English skills a must – speaking, reading and writing
  • Great telephone approach with confident, clear and polite phone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for Theatre / Theatre in Education
  • Knowledge of the Education system a bonus
  • Competent use of Microsoft Word & Excel

This is starting as a casual position of approx 3 days per week.
