The Role

Using your strong administration and organisational skills, and interest in NDIS requirements, you will join an experienced team supporting participants at our service in Pakenham. 

You will focus on providing a high level of customer service to visitors and those who make phone or email enquiries.  You will play an important role in ensuring participant NDIS files are up to date and accurate, and all agreed activities have been signed off and funding claims made.   

We are looking for applicants who

  • Have strong administration skills, can prioritise tasks, have close attention to detail and efficient data entry skills
  • Customer Service experience
  • Experience with or an interest in learning NDIS requirements including data collection and storage and funding requirements
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment

At times, this role may be required to travel to other services within the Casey area.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent administration and reception skills for all general administration tasks.
  • Organisational skills and ability to build rapport with Coordinators and Managers, people with a disability, and other key stakeholders.
  • Good organisational and time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT skills in the use of the MS Office Suite especially Excel/Databases.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a health, disability, aged care or community setting is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the NDIS price guide and expertise in maximising service delivery options based on funding allocated to support area.
  • Hold a current drivers licence.
