 About the role

The Thin Green Line Foundation (TTGLF) has been growing steadily, implementing its 2020 strategic plan to increase our impact on the ground through supporting Rangers around the world.  

The General Manager is a pivotal role in the evolution of the Foundation.  Working closely with the Founder, the role will ensure operational alignment to the Foundation’s values and achievement of the strategic and fundraising goals.

The role provides leadership and management to ensure the Foundation’s governance is sound, accountability and transparency is upheld, and an effective operations team, supporters and partners are working together towards the achieving the Foundation's goals.

About you

We are looking for a values- based, mission-focused, seasoned, strategic, and process-minded leader with experience in scaling an organisation. We are seeking an individual of outstanding quality with a respected track record and potential to reach their own ambitions and that of the Foundation’s.

You must be a leader who is able to help others at TTGLF deliver measurable and, cost-effective results that make the vision a reality. Importantly, you will have the values, skills, sensitivity, and personal confidence to empower each member of the team to brings their best to this mission.

While it is essential that you bring efficient process and systems to increase the effectiveness of the organisation, you will also help to ensure the team retain the core values and ingenuity that drive the TTGLF mission, and you have the ability to deliver on strategic plans in an agile and dynamic manner.

You will be a strong communicator with a high level of management skills and have significant experience working with a Board and preferably have had prior experience working in the not-for-profit sector.

You are an ambitious, highly motivated leader who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and help take the Foundation to the next level.
