The Salvation Army Pay Office operates within Territorial Headquarters of The Salvation Army Australia – Blackburn.

The Office, which is part of the HR Services team, is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of payrolls for approximately 5,500 employees on a fortnightly basis.

Clients include all employees, superannuation funds, the Australian Taxation Office, Bureau of Statistics.

The Payroll Officer will report to the Assistant Payroll Manager and will provide a high level of customer service to managers, staff and third parties.

Duties and responsibilities will include: help in the administration of time-sheets, new commencements, terminations, changes to employee status, leave applications and reconciliations, and superannuation.

For this role you will have at least 3 years customer service and or relevant administrative experience and a basic knowledge of the Chris21 payroll system will be highly regarded

We currently have 3 full time positions available, 38 hours per week fixed term for 6 months with potential for ongoing. Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Clerks Private Sector Award 2010, Level 5.

The position will be located in Blackburn.
