The Salvation Army Australia's Homelessness Stream provides high quality, person-centred services to people at risk, and or experiencing homelessness. We support all cohorts in case management, financial assistance, connection and referral to other specialist services. About the role

We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Team Leader - Front of House, reporting to the Centre Manager. You will lead and oversee the daily operations of the Front of House functions. This incorporates the work of 21-day Case Worker, intake and Assessment and Support Worker teams.

You will successfully

  • Maintain a collaborative working partnership with the Team Leader - Client Services
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders and the community to enhance service delivery for clients
  • Supervise and support all the Front of House team functions
  • Develop, review and update processes for a more streamlined service delivery
  • Review and improve internal processes consistent with the QIP National Accreditation assessment under the guidance of the Site (Delete) Centre Manager The Beacon
  • Provide pro-active management of client risks in consultation with residential case workers (clients not sighted; clients not taking medication; behavioural issues; B&L.)
  • Contribute to the improved processes and policies in line with constant reviewing of operational processes​

This is a permanent full-time position located at The Beacon, Northbridge.

What you will bring to the role

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Welfare, Community Development or related field and relevant experience in a Social Service environment as specified in the award description.
  • Relevant experience in a social service environment including experience in supervising staff.
  • Previous experience in Homelessness or Human Services sector (Desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • A current WA Driver's licence
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police check
