About the role:

Employment Plus is seeking an accomplished and experienced Business Development Manager to lead the BD team to deliver an integrated approach to services and support for all our employment programs, including Workforce Australia and DES, amongst others. The role is a key appointment within the business and is based at our National Office located in Burwood, Melbourne.

This is a new role, reporting at GM level, that will contribute to the success of EPlus in delivering employment services to our program participants and employer partners by:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with large national employers, and translating these into local employment initiatives
  • Overseeing and coordinating local jobs programs and job fairs in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Developing the BD team capability to deliver improved employment placements and outcomes across all programs
  • Strategically developing new programs that leverage EPlus' strengths in wrap around services.

Who you are

You're a natural business developer with a solid track record in leading BD teams, preferably at a national level in the employment services or associated industries. You have a strong passion for helping people, that enjoys supporting our participants and employers in achieving their goals, going above and beyond if need be. A team player with an easy engaging style and a passion for learning. You are looking for the next challenge in your career and warm to the idea of doing so with a global for purpose organisation.

Ideally you have a degree qualification in business or marketing and more than 5 years experience in business development with a demonstrable track record of success in delivering outcomes and agreed KPI's.

You will bring a solid network of employer contacts within the sector, excellent communication and presentation skills, numeracy skills and enjoy working in a team environment alongside your team.
