About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Drive for Life Manager to be responsible for the overall operational management of Drive for Life programs in Victoria. This includes management of service delivery, financial, HR, quality, risk management, program development, compliance and advocacy.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for operational management of all aspects of Drive for Life service delivery
- Oversee access to program vehicles for lesson delivery and brokerage funds to support the delivery of professional lessons for young people
- Coordinate driving lessons with external instructors as well as supervise and record client progress to support learners to become confident drivers
- Provide senior management support to the Drive for Life staff within Youth Services area to ensure compliance with TSA, funding body and legislative requirements and guidelines
- Oversee state volunteer mentor recruitment campaigns, onboarding, training and retention strategies
- Manage SAMIS/JUPITER and monitor data systems
- Partner with Vic Roads and the TAC to deliver L2P programs across Victoria to maintain positive, inclusive culture within Driver training programs
- Manage all risks and incidents, incorporate risk management, BCP and other critical program needs into Driver Training programs
This is a permanent full-time position based in Sunshine, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level.
What you will bring
- Degree qualifications in Education and Training, Community Development, Social Policy and research or business-related field plus more than 5 years relevant management experience
- Specialist post graduate competencies in Youth, Education and Training, or Management will be highly regarded
- National Police Record check
- Current and Valid Working with Children's Check
- Current VIC Driver's Licence
