Over the past year The Salvation Army (TSA) has been working towards joining the two existing Eastern and Southern territories into one unified organisation under the leadership of a National Commander. This will deliver a single Australia territory with an aligned vision, united voice, stronger partnerships, better stewardship, and the ability to make an even greater impact on the many people who depend on our services.
Under the new national organisation, we have created a Mission Support Department that will support the delivery of holistic integrated mission in local communities across Australia.
The Youth and Young Adults Leadership Coordinator will report to the Youth and Young Adults Specialist and will implement strategies for current, emerging and future ministry practice in the Youth & Young Adults area of ministry through targeted facilitation of innovative and strengths based initiatives across the Salvation Army.
The role will be responsible for implementing the national leadership development plan within the Youth and Young Adults stream and advise on and contribute to content for leadership training and development.
For this role you will have extensive knowledge and experience in youth ministry and leadership development and relevant qualification in youth ministry or leadership development.
