Our client is a not-for-profit/social purpose organisation in the aged care and disability sector.
The role
The People and Culture Manager will provide strategic direction and oversight of leadership development and cultural change within the organisation. The key purpose of the position is to ensure that the organisation’s employees are supported by effective leadership and capability frameworks, strategic organisational development processes and delivery of a workforce culture that embodies the organisation’s values.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve organisational and leadership capacity, employee engagement and talent management.
- Developing and implementing strategies for priority projects, specifically Culture Strategies.
- Providing internal consultancy and specialist advice to managers on a range of cultural, development and engagement issues.
- Leading and monitoring the implementation of the Engagement & Feedback Strategy.
- Preparing reports and recommendations to the CEO, Executive Team, and Council on a range of specialist organisational development initiatives and programs.
About you
You will have the ability to engage and coach senior leaders as well as providing leadership to a dynamic HR team. You will also be able to demonstrate where you have fostered a culturally safe and inclusive workforce through the development, management and continuous improvement of people, systems, processes, and policies in a large organisation.
Additionally, you will possess:
- Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement in the areas of cultural change, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in building a capability and career pathways framework in a large organisation.
- Excellent understanding of contemporary and best practice engagement, organisational development practices inclusive of virtual learning models.
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of talent management and succession planning.
- Proven ability to implement programs, systems, technology and procedures that improve and enhance objectives.
- The ability to prepare and monitor budgets.
- High level IT skills and excellent knowledge of HRIS.
