This Life is seeking an experienced, dynamic Communications Manager to manage a small team to deliver all communications, internally and externally.

About Us

This Life Cambodia (TLC) is an award-winning community development organisation that believes in listening to, engaging with, and advocating alongside families and communities as they define and act on their own solutions to complex social issues. TLC currently operates programs in three sectors: Children and Families, Education, and Community Research and Consultancy. The Strategic Engagement team is responsible for fundraising, marketing communications, donor management, and communications in support of the organisation’s programming needs.

The Role

The Communications role is integral to the effectiveness of sharing, reporting, and promoting the work of TLC both externally and internally.

• Developing and implementing a strategic communications plan
• Producing creative communications materials to promote This Life’s impact
• Managing and creating This Life’s website assets (visual and written)
• Oversee strategic social media messages to support This Life’s activities and strategic goals
• Oversee and manage integrated social media campaigns
• Produce well-written content for This Life’s Annual Report and Quarterly Newsletters
• Managing a small team

Skills Required

• Bachelors’ degree majoring in Communications and Marketing or similar
• 5 years progressive experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to develop, execute and review comprehensive communications plans
• Demonstrated experience creating content for collateral and digital channels and tracking performance through analytics
• Understanding of fundraising and financial management processes within NGOs
• High level of written and verbal communication skills in English
• Commitment to This Life’s mission and values and ability to represent these to external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and strategy (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other platforms, to maintain and grow TLCs online presence and generate interest)
