The Humour Foundation

ABOUT US

The Humour Foundation is a unique national organisation that genuinely believes laughter is the best medicine. We are a growing national charity, with a unique brand and impact, focused on delivering the therapeutic benefits of laughter and joy where it is unexpected, but most needed.

Working closely with medical professionals, 30 staff and 70 professional performance artists, we delivered 1,890 Clown Doctor hospital ward rounds engaging with sick children and their families in 22 hospitals across Australia this year. We completed 850 Laughter Care rounds in aged care facilities assisting vulnerable adults, delivering the numerous benefits of research-driven physiological and psychological impacts of laughter and wellbeing within health care settings.

We are passionate about what we do and are looking for an experienced, talented person who is equally passionate about our work and its impact and benefits.
