About the role

Useful Gifts Catalogue Representatives work as part of a passionate and dedicated casual team taking phone calls and processing the Christmas rush of Gift Catalogue orders.

Is this you?

  • You want to assist people to support meaningful gifts that help create new opportunities for communities facing poverty and injustice.
  • You have excellent availability for work; from October through December 2022 you’re available at least three days per week Mon-Fri.
  • You have a lovely phone manner; you are the perfect mix of friendly with good listening skills.
  • You are proficient in computer-based skills; able to learn new processes and follow procedures with accuracy.
  • You’re calm and confident; you can think well on your feet, are comfortable to ask questions and you produce excellent work even when the pressure is on.
  • You’re emotionally intelligent; you can read the vibe and respond promptly to supporter feedback.
  • You have an eagle eye for detail and everyone knows it! You understand how the little things ultimately impact the big things and pride yourself on your accuracy, timeliness and customer service.
  • You are familiar with Tearfund; you love justice and long to contribute your skills to our mission so that everyone can reach their God-given potential.
