About the role

The Acquisition & Retention Manager role is integral to Tearfund’s wider community engagement plan, which aims to grow a movement of Christians in Australia working to see lives transformed for people living in extreme poverty. The role will develop supporter journeys and experiences designed to increase financial support and therefore retain existing supporters and secure support from new donors.

This will require

  • Contribution of strategic insights and taking an evidence-based approach to grow financial support
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams to strengthen existing fundraising campaigns, to attract and retain donors

Is this you? To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Demonstrated experience acquiring and retaining donors in a not-for-profit environment, or customers in a commercial equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to meet financial KPIs and delivering significant financial results
  • Data analysis and interpretation experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly regarded: Experience engaging the Christian Community in Australia

Position Location: A mix of in office at Blackburn, Melbourne or remote, depending on COVID-19 restrictions and business needs
