For over 100 years the Australian Physiotherapy Association has positively represented their membership base of 30,000+ health professionals. They provide education and development opportunities to their members, whilst providing an influential voice of advocacy to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and their member’s services to the public.

The Education team of 15 drives accreditation and Continued Professional Development for members on a National basis. They manage and deliver training and accreditation, training partnerships and international programs that provide world-class training opportunities.

As part of a collegiate executive leadership team, your role will be to:

  • Provide the strategic direction for the Education team
  • Partner and influence stakeholders including board and committee members
  • Understand the individual and team drivers to develop your team
  • Ensure world-class education practices are available for implementation
  • Provide direction and assist with driving innovation and opportunities
  • Analyse performance and provide direction to ensure program delivery
  • Manage and refine financial performance to agreed measures

Your experience could be from the education, health or membership associations where you have led education focused growth and delivery programs. You won’t be developing or delivering programs personally, however you will understand how to develop, interpret and refine strategies that provide tangible results.
