Mikarie Child Care Centre is seeking a passionate full time Early Childhood Room Leader & Educational Leader with experience in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and understanding of the National Quality Standards.

Located in beautiful bush land surroundings in Kirrawee, you will lead a room alongside two experienced Educators, to make a difference in the children's lives through care and education.

What you need to succeed: 

  • Lead and mentor to deliver quality planning, curriculum and outcomes 
  • Develop, plan and implement the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and families
  • Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and child protection
  • Understanding of work health and safety
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding in support children's behaviours and positive guidance techniques
  • Interest, ability and experience in supporting children with additional support needs

Mandatory requirements:

  • Recognised Bachelor in Early Childhood
  • Experience as an ECT
  • Current ACECQA approved First Aid Certificate
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework
  • Current Working with Children Certificate
