The Institute for Sustainable Futures is recruiting for a highly talented and experienced researcher for a Research Principal role, to work on innovative research projects in the field of climate adaptation. ISF is a partner in the NSW Adaptation Research Hub through leadership of the Adaptive Communities Node in collaboration with CSIRO and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.
The Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF) at UTS undertakes game-changing sustainability research. We are seeking applications from skilled and experienced candidates for a Research Principal role, to work on challenging projects in the field of climate change adaptation, from inception through to implementation. Research could encompass qualitative or quantitative aspects of the broad range of activities undertaken by communities, businesses and governments to adapt to the current and future impacts of a changing climate. Research projects may involve working in either urban or rural-regional contexts.

Salary Range: $95,559 to $109,348 pa (Level B).
The university offers 17% employer provided superannuation. This appointment will be on a 2-year fixed term full-time basis.
