Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CEO to lead our organisation and drive our mission forward. As the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in advocating for the rights of women with criminal records, fostering their personal and professional growth, and creating a brighter future for them.

The Role:

• Together with the Success Works Board, develop a strategic vision for the organisation, with a focus on securing opportunities for women with criminal records.
• Lead and inspire a team of committed professional staff to achieve our mission.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with government agencies, community organisations, and businesses to create employment and educational opportunities.
• Together with the Board, raise funds and ensure the management of the organisation's financial resources to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Advocate for policy changes that benefit our target demographic.
• Oversee the implementation of programs and initiatives that support women with criminal records, including mentoring, job training, and reintegration programs.
• Maintain a strong and transparent organisational culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Essential:

• Proven leadership experience at a senior level, preferably in the non-profit or community sector.
• Strong understanding of business principles and practices.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute a vision.
• Passion for, and commitment to, the empowerment and support of women with criminal records.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of successful fundraising, problem-solving and financial management.
• Experience in advocacy and policy change.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from various sectors.

Desirable:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• A woman with lived experience, who has a thorough understanding of the issues faced by women who have experienced the criminal justice system.
