About the Role

Stawell Regional Health provides the region with:

  • Acute surgical and day procedure services (Monday to Friday)
  • A 27 bed inpatient unit providing medical, surgical, transitional care and Palliative Care services
  • 24/7 Urgent Care Centre (UCC)
  • Day Oncology
  • Community care/primary health services and
  • A 36 bed residential aged care facility

The Nurse Unit Manager, Acute Care Services has accountability for the management of the inpatient unit and the UCC. Working alongside a committed team of professional nurses the acute care service is supported by an active and innovative education unit, a support team of allied health clinicians, medical officers, infection control nurse and regional nursing networks.
