The St Vincent de Paul Society is a leading provider of community support services and has been assisting people experiencing disadvantage in NSW for more than 130 years. Sydney Archdiocesan Central Council (SACC) has a centralised management structure which supports our extensive retail operations as well as a range of community service programs. Our Vinnies shops provide furniture, clothing and household goods to people who are experiencing hardship and are also a valuable resource for people on low incomes, enabling them to purchase good quality furniture, clothing and other household items at an affordable price. Our eleven Community Support Centres provide a welcoming, safe space where people experiencing hardship and/or social isolation can access a range of assistance and our specialized services provide support in the areas of homelessness, mental health, disability and counselling.
SACC's Finance and Accounting Department is responsible for all areas of finance and accounting within SACC. It is based at the SACC head office in Auburn and provides support to all of its retail and welfare services.
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the end to end accounts payable function and providing high quality administrative support for the Sydney Archdiocese Central Council.
