Role requirements:

  • At least 2 year’s experience in a project management or coordination role
  • At least 3 years experience in a people management role supporting staff across multiple geographies
  • Experience in working with B2B and government clients
  • Knowledge of Autism, disability and disability employment will be highly regarded
  • Degree level qualification in relevant field or significant industry / sector experience
  • Not-for-profit experience (desirable)
  • Australian work rights – Australian citizenship or permanent resident visa

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Programs Manager to join our small but fast-growing social enterprise to develop. As our programs and activities continue to grow we require the skills of an experienced Programs Manager to support the continued growth and expansion of our activities. Your key focus will be to lead and support a geographically dispersed team to plan, deliver and implement our program activities on behalf of business clients and funding partners across key states and territories. You will play a key role in managing current business client and funder relationships and you will work as part of the leadership team to grow and broker new relationships with new businesses and organisations to further grow the opportunities for adults with autism to obtain and secure meaningful career opportunities. We are seeking a Programs Manager with a strong background in project management and coordination. While this leadership role will see you managing and leading a team to implement and deliver high quality programs and services to client businesses and organisations, you will also play a hands-on role supporting the establishment and delivery of our programs. Our team while small and geographically dispersed are highly collaborative and driven to achieve our mission and purpose.

You will be:

  • Confident in taking a hands-on approach and willing to develop and work across all areas of program and
    service delivery
  • Experienced in job coaching, mentoring or workplace training and capacity building
  • Confident in the use of project management, administrative and business operations tools
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Highly collaborative with strong stakeholder liaison skills
  • Proactive in applying a problem-solving approach
