Learn about the position

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help ensure the delivery of integrated health services. Provide executive support to the Executive Community Services, Community Services Leadership group and other Community Services and Sonder subcommittees. You will be working collaboratively with the relevant subcommittees. The CSPO develops and delivers community services initiatives and projects as well as contributing to program development and applications for funding as required. This position is based at our Edinburgh or Marion sites and is fixed term with the likelihood of extension.

Reporting directly to the Executive Manager of Community Services, your responsibilities will be:

  • Provide executive support to the Executive Community Services (CS), CS Leadership Group and relevant subcommittees, including CS Community Engagement Team and any other CS team meetings
  • Support the development initiatives, strategies and projects which support innovation and continuous quality improvement in service delivery, and the active involvement and participation of CS leadership and CS service delivery staff in the design, establishment, implementation and evaluation of such.
  • Contribute to tender writing when required

Experience requirements

  • Appropriate level of experience in a health care service
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating administrative processes and managing staff
  • Experience in community health service delivery and program development
  • Demonstrated experience in preparation of written and data reports and other correspondence
  • Experience managing projects and events
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems

Qualification requirements

  • Knowledge and experience using the Microsoft suite of software and databases
  • A tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s Degree or higher) relevant to the scope and content of the job
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Child Safe Environments
