This newly created role is suited for an experienced communications practitioner, looking to contribute to a growing team and work for an organisation dedicated to changing business practices ‘for good’.

Working closely with the Digital Marketing, Communications and Events Manager, the Communications and Content Specialist will be responsible for taking the lead on our content strategy to support our refreshed brand and strategic vision.

The Role

At a high level this role will be championing our refreshed tone of voice to build our membership base, engage with our current members and drive wider brand awareness including:

  • Developing and implementing a content strategy with a focus on tracking success and continuous improvement.
  • Designing and leading targeted campaigns that speak to multiple audiences across our digital and social media channels.
  • Building our content assets including pitching and writing stories, feature articles and case studies.
  • Managing the Social Traders ‘newsroom’ including engaging with partners and media to produce relevant and read-worthy content.

About you

  • You are a driven communications professional who knows how to create content that cuts through.
  • You are constantly keeping on top of trending topics and news - always scoping the digital landscape for content opportunities.
  • Your content strikes a balance between the emotive and the commercial. That’s why the copy you produce is eye-catching and engaging, yet always on brand and with our core audience and strategic goals in mind.
