In this role you play a key part in providing clients the care that enables them to live their best lives at home. This includes tasks like managing care management plans, clinical assessments, liaising with GPs and social workers, respite care, pain management, pressure injury management and wound care.

With support from your team, you can work with autonomy and flexibility, enhance your clinical skills and build meaningful relationships with clients. Experience firsthand the lasting impact of your work on people’s lives and the community.

Full, part time and casual positions are available across Cairns and far north Queensland. We’ll work with you to arrange hours that fits your lifestyle and commitments, like studies or childcare. About you

You have passion with purpose and are driven by excellence. Caring is a profession and a calling, and your work and support enriches everyone.

In addition, you will have the following skills:

• 2+ years’ experience in clinical nursing role
• Current AHPRA registration
• Previous palliative care experience
• Community care experience highly regarded
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal 
• Current, full Australian driver’s license
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team
