House Manager / Team Leader - Disability

Seton Villa is looking for a House Manager that will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of one of our Seton Villa Group Homes, by leading and managing a small team of Community Support Workers to deliver quality, person centred care to exceed individual outcomes for people being supported.

Our customers are at the heart of what we do, so we are seeking someone to exceed service delivery to enhance our customers’ wellbeing, independence, choice, privacy and dignity.

To thrive in this role you must have:

  • Previous experience leading a team
  • Experience in staff rostering and management preferred
  • Experience in managing a budget
  • Demonstrated commitment to & understanding of Person Centred Practices
  • Working knowledge of the Disability Service Standards and previous experience in the disability field is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Risk Management
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Experience in the use of Windows package including Excel and Word
  • A current Drivers License
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal record check
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Seton Villa in the spirit of the daughters of charity

Seton Villa, an incorporated work of the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul, operates seven Group Homes and a Day Program for women with an intellectual disability in the Ryde area.
