We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-time fixed term, Senior Employment Coach to join our team in Glenelg.

As a Senior Employment Coach you will be managing the end-to-end process of a caseload of participants and motivating a small team of Employment Coaches to drive the best employment outcomes for job seekers. This position is responsible for supporting the Site Manager to lead a successful team. This role is primarily based at our Glenelg site, travel to our Mount Barker site may be required for this role.

Day- to-day activities will include:

  • Assisting the Site Managers to effectively manage day to day site operations to achieve all agreed targets and site KPI’s.
  • Providing expert operational advise, coaching and support to all site employees.
  • Working collaboratively to build positive relationships with employers and participants.
  • Actively promoting and marketing participants to potential employers helping to create employment opportunities.
  • Achieving sustainable employment outcomes for participants by providing support to develop skills and abilities.

About You

As someone who is highly organised and enjoys creating a positive working environment you will be able to apply your leadership skills, manage change and innovation in service. You will be passionate about developing relationship with key internal and external stakeholders including management at all levels.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills including the ability to write timely and accurate email communications, participant case notes and reports
  • Effective collaboration skills with colleagues, such as providing expert advice, coaching and support as required.
  • Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
  • Experience training, developing and leading high performing teams.
  • Time management and organisation skills, able to plan, prioritise and achieve outcomes.

For this role, you will need to:

  • Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Be eligible to work in Australia
