About the Department

The Haematology Clinical Trials Unit provides coordination and care to Haematology patients who are participating in either Phase 1, 2, or 3 clinical trials. Clinical treatment is delivered in the outpatient Cancer Centre Chemotherapy Day Unit and also on the 6th floor of the Inpatient Services Building in Fitzroy.

About the Role

You will manage commercial sponsored and investigator-driven national and international clinical trials for Haematology patients.

Classifications for this position will range from JA7 - JA9 ($81,328 - $90,287 per annum pro rata).

Duties

  • Coordinate and manage a number of clinical trials
  • Coordinate the care of trial patients
  • Coordinate and adhere to clinical trial protocols and guidelines
  • Ensure serious adverse events are reported to relevant parties in accordance with GCP guidelines
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection and documentation

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • A minimum three years Haematology Clinical Trials experience
  • Experience and competent in multiple E-CRF databases, including medidata RAVE, and Inform
  • Experience and being responsible for preparation of own trials where an external monitor and audit visits
  • Bachelor of Applied Science, Pharmaceutical Science or Nursing with Post Grad, or qualifications in other medical fields
  • Experience in conducting FIH and Phase 1,2,3 Clinical trials
