As Volunteer Services Manager, reporting to the Director People and Culture, you will work as part of the leadership team and with other Executives, leading the development, implementation, and delivery of the Volunteering Strategy for the Society.
This includes the delivery of volunteer programs and initiatives to enhance and build the volunteering capacity within the Society, working in close collaboration across the organisation to design and deliver recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives in relation to our highly valued volunteers.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced people leader who is passionate about volunteering and has clearly demonstrated and proven experience in leading/managing volunteers and/or similar. This should include demonstrating a clear knowledge and understanding of volunteering frameworks, specifically the development of volunteering strategies and related supporting initiatives and/or leadership in workforce attraction, engagement, and development.
You will have a strong values alignment to the purpose of Vinnies, as well as be known as a leader who inspires and engages with people at all levels. You will have the proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing valued advice to Executives and representing the organisation with diverse stakeholder groups.
You will have tertiary qualifications relevant to human resource management and/or similar and have proven previous experience in a people and/or volunteer leadership related role and/or have extensive proven commensurate experience as a leader of volunteering within a complex work environment.
