The St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn has been serving the local community since 1924. We are a charity offering a ‘hand up’ to people in need, regardless of their creed, ethnic or social background, health, gender or political opinion. We do this by respecting peoples' dignity, sharing our hope and by encouraging people to take control of their own destiny. We work to shape a more just and compassionate society. We help people in a large geographic area surrounding the ACT - to Lake Cargelligo in the west, across the Snowy Mountains to Tumut, down to Eden, up to Batemans Bay and inland to Crookwell. The Society’s services are the result of the combined effort of our members, volunteers and employees.
The Society attempts to help as many struggling and vulnerable people as possible. To do this, we are in the process of attaining accreditation so that we can expand our programs as needed and ensure we are meeting best practice.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Services team as a Quality Improvement Manager. This role will be responsible for drafting, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reviewing internal policies, procedures and processes, ensuring they provide compliant, appropriate and effective governance for the Society. You will develop and design quality control processes to ensure all of the Society's various services adhere to legal and safety standards, our Strategic Plan and our Vision, Mission and Values.
The successful applicant will need to be an excellent communicator and able to engage effectively with internal stakeholders to communicate and implement the quality and compliance measures required. Your outstanding relationship management skills will enable our projects, programs and services to run efficiently and thereby meet the Society's present and future needs.
At least 3 years' previous experience in a similar role, including project management and business analysis is essential, as well as tertiary qualifications in business administration or a relevant field. You must also have a current driver's licence and high level computer skills.
