VincentCare Victoria is seeking an appropriately qualified practitioner to provide intensive case management, advocacy and referral, brief engagement and intervention and accommodation and support to victim-survivors.
You will be based in our Olive's Place specialist family violence program, which provides support and accommodation to adult and child victim-survivors who have fled their homes due to family violence. The program aims to support and empower victim-survivors to rebuild confidence and self-esteem, establish a life without violence and achieve a maximum level of self-reliance and independence.
The role is responsible for promoting and delivering person-centred operational approaches that preserve and respect the diversity and autonomy of our clients. This requires you to have an in-depth understanding of the gendered nature of family violence, intersectionality in family violence, and the nature, dynamics and impact of family violence across a broad range of familial relationships.

You are a qualified professional with experience in providing comprehensive case management, planning and support to assist clients within a family violence setting. You understand partnership initiatives and deliverables and have an ability to work alongside other stakeholders.
You have experience in maintaining constructive, empathetic, supportive and respectful working relationships particularly for an integrated service response.
