Remote / Work from Home
Red Nose is Australia’s leading authority on safe sleeping and safe pregnancy advice and has been a key provider of bereavement support following pregnancy, infant and child loss for over 40 years. Our advocacy role is focused on saving the lives of babies through prevention of deaths and learning from the experiences of bereaved families whilst utilising evidence-based research.
The Prevention, Education and Research team develop and create education products, including online learning, resources and in person training to deliver our strategic objectives. This team contributes to the organisation’s mission and vision through ensuring easy access to safe sleep, safer pregnancy and best practice bereavement education across Australia.
Red Nose prides itself on being a learning organisation, working hard to ensure that our staff and volunteers have access to the best available evidence-based information and resources to train and educate new parents, child care workers and health professionals.
Our Prevention, Education and Research department is in an exciting phase of growth and we need a talented person like you to help us maximise our new learning management system (LMS).
The Learning Support Officer’s key responsibility is to assist with the design, development, delivery, support and maintenance of Red Nose’s LMS and other education products and resources. Working closely with our Learning Designer, the role will create new course content and manage administrative tasks related to the LMS, including updating content on the online shop, managing group purchases and discount codes and other administrative tasks related to enrolments and reporting.
Training and mentoring will be provided to help you become our organisation’s LMS expert, and enable you to offer guidance and support to all end users and troubleshoot issues with the help of the system support team. You will have demonstrated work experience in developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly motivated team in meaningful, life-saving work. As an inclusive organisation, we encourage applications from people who can bring diverse lived-experience and culture to this role.
