The role

You are responsible for planning and overseeing SHQ’s intimate partner violence (IPV) and reproductive coercion (RC) projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The projects aim to increase the capacity of the primary and community health sector to recognise, respond to and refer people with experiences of IPV and RC. Your primary role will be to plan, manage and designate project resources, develop and deliver training, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. You will lead a team across multiple projects.

Your Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Experience

  • 5+ years in a similar/project management role
  • Knowledge and understanding of intimate partner violence (IPV) and/or family and domestic violence (FDV) including prevalence, impact on survivors, responding to disclosures and support services. (People who have experience working in the areas of homelessness/women’s health/community health/mental health/child sexual abuse who have DV sector knowledge, skills and experience are strongly encouraged to apply).
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary business and project management practices.
  • Proven ability to achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets and under time pressures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the project management life cycle and an ability to track and report against milestones.

Your qualifications and/or other requirements

  • Bachelor of business or health-related degree
  • A National Police Clearance no older than 6 months from date of issue.
  • Highly Desirable - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
