Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health (SCCH) is a not-for-profit community health organisation providing a comprehensive range of affordable health, wellbeing and community services in early childhood, youth, families, adults, aged and disability. SCCH serves a vast geographical area from Sunbury to areas beyond the borders of Macedon Ranges Shire and operates from sites, across Kyneton, Romsey and Sunbury. SCCH is committed to improving the health of its community and being accessible to all, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background, people with a disability, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQA+) people and other socially vulnerable groups.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for leading a financially sustainable, dynamic, and impact-focused organisation. The role involves delivering on the objectives set out in the 2022 – 2025 Strategic Plan and establishing and embedding the organisation’s culture and values. Strong community involvement will be facilitated to ensure the organisation effectively serves its community's health and well-being needs while adhering to legal and quality standards.
You present as a successful and inspiring leader of a not-for-profit community service or health-based organisation with a sound knowledge of the not for profit sector. Underpinning your high-level commercial nous are your financial acumen, and strong strategic and change management skills. Equally, you have a track record of effectively planning and leading day-to-day business operations including high level program and service development. You will drive strong corporate governance, as well as financial and risk management. An ability to build networks and cultivate strong, and productive relationships with a capability to drive vision and purpose across an engaged workforce, you draw on your collaborative style, and sophisticated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. You are committed to advancing the health of the local community and supporting the work and growth of this important health and community service organisation.
