About the Position

The NDIS Project Manager will continue to focus on the NDIS direct service teams’ priorities on local services for the people we support; oversight the NDIS pricing transition; undertake non-billable functions for the team; and facilitate timely, responsive decision-making that promotes viable business practices.

Your key skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, and a Certificate IV or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g. mental health, peer work, disability) or demonstrated equivalent skill with a minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the NDIS context, Price Guide and Quality and Safeguarding requirements; and application within a mental health context.
  • Previous success and/or demonstrated capacity in project management of new or transforming business in a mental health, community, or disability service setting; to achieve operational and financial viability in NDIS direct services.
  • Well-developed financial management and financial modelling skills.
  • Demonstrated values and ability to facilitate a culture of trust and delegated authority to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Success in developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and enhancing referral pathways.
  • An understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and hard to reach, CALD and LGTBQIA communities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and trauma informed practice.
  • An understanding of the importance of working with carers and families.
  • Experience in working with staff and volunteers with a lived experience.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy to use Microsoft programs and the capability to learn other applications.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the designated area as required, including overnight stays.

Additional Details

One Door Mental Health requires all staff to have a Police Check clearance, a current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening clearance and appropriate COVID-19 Vaccination.
