The Health Data Analyst / Statistician is responsible for leading the analysis of population health data to generate insights to inform catchment-wide decision-making. This is technical and collaborative role which requires the ability to lead discussions about the use of data-driven insights with both internal and external stakeholders.

At South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (SEMPHN), we are leaders, facilitators, and influencers towards the shared goal of better primary health care. We are funded by the Australian Government to help people in South East Melbourne gets the health care they need, when and where they need it.
The Business Intelligence directorate lead the curation, analysis, and translation of data to answer important questions about the health care needs of our catchment, so that health services are delivered to the right people, when and where they need it. The Business Intelligence directorate maintains or has direct access to a large variety of exclusive datasets, including data from general practice, hospital data and outcome data from our commissioned programs, which are used to generate insights for healthcare improvement and impact.
