Are you a children's disability specialist who wants to play a larger role in ensuring disability service providers meet the needs of children and families?

SDN's Children's Services is seeking Transition Advisors to work from our offices in Sydney.

About the role

SDN's Transition Advisor team plays a crucial role in the roll out of NDIS to children. Transition Advisors support Early Childhood Early intervention (ECEI) Transition Providers across NSW to ensure high quality services for children and families. The advice you provide will help providers ensure that children get the support they need.

This is a maximum term contract role until 29 June 2018. We are open with part time (Min 3 days / week) or full time options.

About You

Together with a passion for making sure children and families are receiving plans that meet their needs, you will have:

  • a university qualifications in a relevant allied health discipline/ (Preferably OT or Speech).
  • a minimum of 3 years' experience in the delivery of early intervention and family services
  • a demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, the ECEI approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles to identify the needs of children and their families and make decisions about their eligibility for ECEI/NDIS support

You will also be an effective communicator with highly developed interpersonal, coaching and mentoring skills, and will use your skills to engage effectively with transition providers to review & give clear and concise feedback.
