About the role

Exciting opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to become a key member of our passionate Royal Rehab teams working in Business Development across two of our hospital sites in Ryde and Petersham.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish and support relationships with key referrers to both our private hospitals and Royal Rehab LifeWorks services.
  • Identify new referrer opportunities and pathways to promote services working in partnership with marketing and clinical services.
  • Develop and manage GP education and CPD program.
  • Promote clinical service offering to local GP community via relevant and regular interactions with GP practices.
  • Work with General Managers to develop relevant KPI and targets aligned to business growth objectives.
  • Development and delivery of annual engagement plans
  • Liaise regularly with targeted community organisations and support associations to raise patient awareness of the Royal Rehab Private and Royal Rehab LifeWorks service offerings.
  • Work with existing CRM and other systems to build referrer database.
  • Work cohesively with the broader management, marketing and clinical stakeholders to enhance referral pathways from Specialists, GPs, and other health professionals.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in the healthcare environment.
  • Qualifications in Health, Business, Marketing or relevant discipline.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in delivering outcomes and business growth.
  • Team player.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and good personal and professional presentation skills.
  • Experience in delivery or facilitation of events.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in a range of software systems (e.g., MS Office Suite, CRMs).
  • Full Drivers Licence and own vehicle.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in business development/sales role within the healthcare environment.
  • Skills in social media management.
  • Experience leading CPD programs for GPs.
