Road Safety Education Limited (RSE) provides the RYDA road safety education program to senior high school students. RYDA is offered to, and organised through, schools and over 600,000 students have now participated in the RYDA Program throughout Australia and New Zealand. This community-based initiative receives strong corporate sponsorship from several major organisations.

RSE seeks to appoint a Program Manager, to join the management team based in Head Office at North Ryde in Sydney. This position will manage the marketing and delivery of the RYDA program throughout Australia.

This challenging position provides a unique opportunity to work with the pre-eminent road safety educator for youth. RSE and its partners are committed to improving road safety and the position will play a significant role in the ongoing development of the RYDA Program in Australia.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate prior success in the following areas:

• A business builder who can form strong and trusting relationships and deliver results against plan objectives. Strong skills in:
  • selling and marketing, analysis and plan implementation;
  • team leadership and training;
  • communication and presentation to individuals at all levels;

• Problem solver, with an ability to ‘think on your feet.
• Sales management and financial competence with attention to detail.
• A work history that demonstrates stable tenure.

The candidate who can also demonstrate the following would be particularly well regarded:

• An ability to influence outcomes with volunteers, local government and education sectors
• A passion for the not-for-profit sector especially in education
• Prior experience in, road safety or, in facilitating training programs in the education sector.
