Why we need you:

We’re searching for someone who is flexible and open to learning to assist our client who assists in providing housing solutions to people who are disadvantaged and NDIS participants. Operating primarily from a Preston location with some requirements to attend a CBD office within their Victorian housing services department.

You will work alongside the housing services team to deliver professional tenancy management services for a variety of tenancy types to sustain and improve tenancies and ensure positive client outcomes via excellent customer service.

You will be required to have the following experience and skills:

  • Previous tenancy management experience, preferably within the Community sector
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Ensuring regular and accurate case notes and reports are developed
  • Compassion and understanding towards socially disadvantaged groups including people enduring housing stress, people with disabilities and people from a non-English speaking background
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act is desirable
  • Degree in Social Sciences, Public Sector Management, Social Work or related disciplines or equivalent experience is advantageous.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must hold or be willing to obtain: Current Victorian Drivers licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check (Employee type).
