RedR Australia manages Australia Assists, the Australian Government’s humanitarian civilian deployment program, deploying technical specialists to help partners prepare for, respond to and recover from natural disasters and conflict globally.

Job Description

The Systems Administrator and Data Coordinator provides support across all functional units of RedR Australia in the delivery of a Human Resource Information Management System (ELMO) and our Training Management System, including interactions with NetSuite. This involves working collaboratively across a range of functional departments in Australia and our regional offices in Suva and Amman including HR, Operations, Strategy and Impact, and Finance to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of these systems to maximise efficiency and ensure a positive customer and stakeholder experience.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration

  • Provide systems administration of HR and training SaaS systems.
  • Maintain system integrity, data accuracy and deliver continuous improvements in process management.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of system integrations (including NetSuite) via Dell Boomi.
  • Provide technical support for key internal stakeholders across recruitment, deployment, human resources, training, and MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning), including systems support, ad hoc reporting requests, and process and procedure support.
  • Support the ongoing development of information management systems including user testing, training and implementation, acting as the super user and administrator for all systems.

Information Management

  • Develop and maintain dashboards of relevance for internal and external users of RedR’s systems.
  • Create, maintain and update reports on key operational and Australia Assists program and other donor-funded program metrics on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Review and update existing filing conventions and systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification (minimum degree level) in Information Technology, Information Management, Business, and/or Human Resource Management.
  • Previous experience in a systems administration role.
  • Advanced level of computing skills, proficiency in MS including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint is mandatory.
  • Exposure to and having a working knowledge of People systems (Engagement Platforms, Learning Management Systems and HRIS) would be an advantage but not essential.
  • The ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities and requests in a fast-paced, high-volume role to meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative and innovation to drive systems improvement and better reporting
