About us

Established in 2017, Red Maple Consulting is a private consulting and assessment service. Our vision is to provide high quality services to the complex client group, and do so through the provision of services provided by a small team of highly skilled practitioners. Our team is exceptionally dedicated and all share a commitment to improving the social and health outcomes of people with highly complex needs. Whilst we are expanding, our goal is to continue to provide a flexible, responsive and boutique style service where we focus on providing targeted work of an exceptional quality. We currently provide assessments and care plan coordination for people with complex needs through the State government's, Multiple and Complex Needs Initiative (MACNI), consulting services and NDIS support coordination and specialist support coordination.

Qualifications & experience

  • Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Allied Health essential, and registration with governing body. Post graduate qualifications preferred.
  • Extensive high level experience working with people with complex needs, including people with mental health diagnoses, disability, drug and alcohol use, homelessness and involvement in the forensic system
  • A strong understanding of the service system and barriers that impact people with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a range of stakeholders and maintain collaborative client and network relationships
  • Demonstrated capacity to write exceptional reports
  • Previous experience as an NDIS support coordinator essential

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Provide daily NDIS support coordination and MACNI care plan coordination tasks, in a transparent and collaborative manner
  • Engage NDIS participants and MACNI clients to provide strengths based, goal directed support to build resilience and improve outcomes for people with complex needs
  • Identify service system gaps and work with the care team to support access to services by providing high level advocacy
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders including clients/ participants/ families / care team members / senior partners
  • Prepare detailed reports for the NDIS and Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, Complex Needs Panel regarding the progress of NDIS plan or MACNI care plan implementation
  • Present verbal client reviews to divisional Complex Client Panels (may be required to attend in person or on microsoft teams)
  • Support the resolution of conflicts or challenges within the care team
  • Respond to critical incidents, and lead the care team in the development of risk management plans and communication protocols
