About us

bestchance Child Family Care is an independent, not-for-profit community organisation which has been providing high quality support to children and families since 1895.

We have over 750 Staff Members and 100 Volunteers delivering a range of educational programs accredited under the Department of Education and Training. These programs include Early Childhood Learning and Development for children under the age of five and Primary Education for children with social/emotional and learning difficulties. These programs are complemented by a range of support services for parents and families such as Early Childhood Intervention and Family Support Services.

We also offer nationally recognised Accredited Training through our Registered Training Organisation bestchance Training (TOID 3695).

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, dynamic and professional Centre Coordinator at our Children's Centre based in Glen Waverley.

The successful applicant must have a strong service ethic and be able to implement, lead and maintain a place of learning and adventure whilst providing a nurturing environment for the children in our care.

The role requires someone with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and a strong knowledge the VEYLDF, EYLF, NQS as well as other early childhood influences outlined in our centre vision on the bestchance website.

The position would be suited to an early childhood professional who wants an autonomous role with the support of a growing organisation. Previous experience as a Centre Coordinator will be essential in this role. You will be offered excellent support, professional development and consultancy, as well as a work place that encourages a culture of welcome, feedback and progression opportunities.

This is a full-time position with the ideal candidate available to start preferably as soon as possible. Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience.
