We recognise that our volunteers are a vital part of RSPCA ACT’s success and seek to find a dynamic self-starter to fill the exciting role of Volunteer Program Coordinator.
In this role, you will be responsible for the recruitment, coordination & support of our volunteer team who assist us in a range of activities.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively with volunteers, staff and members of the public. You will be responsible for developing relevant policies and procedures, communications, scheduling training, resolution management and recognition events. In essence, you will be responsible for the successful management of our volunteer program.
You should be adept at interpersonal communication, be able to manage competing and challenging priorities, but most of all love interacting with people who love and care for animals and be able to work with them to achieve our overall vision and mission. HR skills would also be an advantage.

Salary and conditions are in line with the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2010, Level 4 – 5, depending on experience. This is a part-time position and there will be occasional after hours work and weekend work. RSPCA ACT also offers a number of employee benefits.
