About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for assisting our team in providing accounting services to our clients.
- Taking ownership of the Finance department's Accounts Payable function
- Supervising a small team of volunteers and manage the workflow and communication
- Contributing to weekly Cash flow forecast and monthly balance sheet reconciliations and year-end audit
- Tracking compliance with RSPCA NSW policies with respect to usage of Fuel Cards, Company vehicles, delegations of authority and presenting the findings to Head of Finance and Financial Controller
- Business Partnering with Operational/Senior Managers/Project Managers/Branch Treasurers
- Assisting the Financial Controller with adhoc requirements to ensure an effective management of the Finance Department.
You will have the confidence to interact with both individuals and groups of all shapes and sizes and will possess strong time management and organisational skills. Plus:
- Master’s Degree, CPA: completed or enrolled
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Possessing good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong organisational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective time and matter management
- Proficiency in basic software technologies like Microsoft Office
- To work both independently and collaboratively in a team
