About the Opportunity

The RSPCA Darwin Regional Branch is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to lead a team of passionate and committed staff on a full time basis. Reporting to the RSPCA Darwin Regional Branch Board, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in line with the 2016-2020 Strategic Plan, ensuring long-term sustainability for the shelter and building strong relationships with sponsors, supporters and the broader community.

Accountabilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the Boulter Rd animal shelter and re-homing program
• Ensure strong governance structures and develop organisational capacity to ensure an efficient, sustainable and compliant organisation
• Drive increased brand awareness and increase membership numbers, volunteers and corporate support/partnerships
• Manage staff and volunteers to increase skills, provide mentorship and team development, improve productivity and retention
• Drive increased organisational revenue

RSPCA Darwin Regional Branch would like to offer the successful candidate a two-year contract with the option to extend should performance meet expectations.

An attractive remuneration package of $93,000 per annum, negotiable dependent upon skills, is available with the opportunity to review remuneration after 12 months dependent upon meeting key performance indicators. You will be supported by the Board in attaining business objectives and expanding your skills.
