Reed have partnered with an excellent community service organisation to recruit for a General Manager. This position will lead the transformation of this charity to become a leading player in the field of child wellbeing within NSW. The organisation has been around for over 40 years and specialise in early intervention and family support work through a variety of programs and services. The position is full time and permanent and would be based in the Inner West of Sydney.
Duties would include:
- Working collaboratively with all staff to implement, measure and review the organisation's new strategic plan
- Support the board to provide good governance and strategic business planning
- Ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the organisation
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder and sponsor relationships
- Interpret and provided analysis on new policies and scope out area's for growth
- Establish and maintain an empowered workforce to best meet the needs of the communities they service
Requirements:
We are looking for:
- A strong leader with previous experience in organisational management, community development and structuring and preparing government and other grant applications
- Someone who can build and motivate teams and someone who understands service delivery in a community context
- Knowledge of clinical applications relating to child protection and child abuse
